Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval from music journalists and media. She has recorded several high-profile cover songs, including Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and were widely appreciated. Katy Perry posted a video in which she endorsed Runaway. It earned her some attention. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memory is of finding an instrument hidden in the attic of her home, and becoming fascinated with the sounds it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes advised her to pursue music for personal growth, rather than as a way of earning money or for to pursue an interest. As a result, she started writing the music she composed herself. Her influences include renowned authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in addition to her affinity with Bjork's style. Her mother had told her the songs she composed might not make her famous but instead to inspire individuals to recognize their own value and impact to this world, she started singing them in public. At age 6 she started playing the piano. At age nine, she was writing music. The family did not know about this until she reached the age of fourteen. It was never a dream to turn into Aurora. She just loves to write songs. For her music, is the best way to express anything.
